Kingussie is well served with eating facilities all within easy walking distance
from Benula.. For special occasions there is the award-winning Cross restaurant situated
in an old mill by the side of the River Gynack or the Auld Alliance which provides
authentic French cuisine in a traditionally furnished Scottish villa. The Silverfjord
and Tipsy Laird have restaurants serving local fare and lunchtime and evening meals
are also served in several hotels in the village including a buffet in the Duke of
Gordon Hotel. The main street has 3 cafes plus Volante’s fish and chip shop and a

Newtonmore also has a number of excellent eating places including the popular Glen
Hotel which is also a CAMRA pub.
There are many other restaurants throughout the Park including The Old Bridge Inn
at Aviemore and the Boat House at Insh. After a walk in the Cairngorms or around
Loch Morlich, the cafe at Glenmore is a great place to sit and watch the wildlife.
